ID #/ Card: 528193432 | ID Card | Lutz
Name: Lutz
HP: 17
THREADCUTTER username: Walpurgisnacht
Gender: Female (Intersex)
Height: 4’3 | 121cm
Level of spiritual awareness: Lvl 5
Title: TBA

Personality:

  • Adamant | Brave | Appreciative | Modest | Quiet | Quaint

  • Childish temper | Nihilistic | Vindictive | Moody | Cynical

In stark contrast to her childish body, Lutz nearly always hold an unforgiving, forlorn frown on her face. Having lost her childhood to horrific acts of human cruelty, she loathes life and is morbidly happy about the fact that she is dead. Nothing tormented her more than her own life and there’s no real joy to simply ‘existing’ either, but at least she has something to do. The living disgusts her very much or just humans in general, which makes her very resolute in her job as well as helping her develop a certain detachment, thus making it hard for her to ever sympathise with them.  She is a child at heart and can throw a strop at the smallest things, though some things tend to trigger her anger more than others. Shallow accusations, comments about her appearance amongst other personal attacks can make her lash out both verbally and physically.

A part of her cares very much about her own appearance and she has a secret love of pretty things which is one way to coax away her icy exterior. She is very easily pleased and having lived through trying times, Lutz appreciates effort and small acts of kindness. Lutz does not easily get attached nor is she openly friendly, but it does not mean she cannot recognise the positivity of others.

Weapon of Death:
A raggedy hand-puppet crow that has a metal beak made to function the same way as a pair of scissors’ blades would. All she has to do is pinch the beaks together with her fingers within the puppet. The stitchings are very visible and the wings+tail are made of real feathers. Endearingly named 'Hexe'.

Cell phone: Silver LG DLite flip phone.

Obituary:

27th August 1613 - 2nd September 1626 (aged 12)

Birthplace - Würzburg, Germany

Cause of Death - Carbon monoxide poisoning

An unfortunate victim amongst the 600-900 accused of witchcraft during the great witch hysteria of 1626 and sent to be burned at the stakes after a mass trial.

Bio:

A wave of trials had already taken place during 1616-1617 in Würzburg, when Lutz was only a tot. Her mother, a simple seamstress, was especially fearful of the horrific events due to the state of Lutz’s body. The child was born with a strange body, neither quite male no female which initially alarmed her, but her love for Lutz never wavered. The woman had initially raised her child as a son as a sort of ‘charm’ to bypass the witchery accusations flying around which had gotten many women taken from their families already regardless of age. That and to appease her strict husband who desired a son.

Despite the regular whispers of so-and-so who was dragged out of their beds at night, the neighbours next door whose entire family were arrested or the poor vagabond who wandered into town during these tense and unjust times, Lutz managed to live a humble life with her parents despite how difficult her father could be at times. The man was eventually imprisoned for drunken behaviour and disturbing the peace when Lutz was ten years of age.

It did not faze the mother and child as they continued their quiet lives. Lutz learned to sew now that her father was no longer here to berate his ‘son’s interest in such things. Her first creation was a hand puppet embellished with bird feathers. They spoke of leaving the town together, perhaps making a new start. The grim happenings within the town did not dull their happiness for another two years. Almost.

It was merely days after Lutz’s 12th’s birthday when she was seen by a paranoid neighbour, playing with her beloved bird puppet. This simple, innocent child’s playful actions were condemned by the woman as ‘witch-dancing’ and Lutz was taken away later that very day. Luckily, her mother wasn’t present at the time, thus spared and she prayed the woman was able to escape somehow. She prayed for this even when a magistrate sentenced her and another boy her age to be burned at the stake. And even when the flames had engulfed her, she held onto that prayer....Thankful that she could not spot any signs of her mother amongst the crowd as she choked on the thick smoke.

Lutz's adjustment to being an Apprentice was calm and an oddly smooth transition...She accepted it with a strange, morbid amusement but nothing more. Despite her nonchalance, she would go through with reap orders without any complaints or hesitation. Her detachment to the living and humans as a whole certainly helped. Due to her attitude, Lutz is quite the loner and found herself more often studying in the library, a luxury she longed for when she was still alive.

Extra:

-Carries a sewing kit on her

-Her ‘skirt’ is made from the garb she wore during her execution hence the burn damage
-Her hair was burnt at the tips which is why it's darker.

***************************************

Stats:
STR: 0 - Her stature and her lifestyle before her death pretty much guaranteed no heavy-lifting or physical labour of any kind. Just a simple seamtress' child.

DEX: 5 - Almost as a compensation for her lack of physical strength, Lutz has nimble fingers and a good eye for details. She often used to play in the small streets behind her mother's shop, often mimicking the alley cats found there, this honing her balance amongst other motor skills through her unusual playtimes.

CON: 2 - Despite her fragile appearance, Lutz is hardy enough to take a few hits. Her father was always strict with her and physically reprimanded her when he saw fit, so she can handle that much. Lutz has only been sick once or twice early on in her childhood, so her immune system seems rather healthy also.

INT: 3 - Due to her financial status when she was alive, Lutz was taught everything by her mother and had a knack for learning, as exhibited by her talent in sewing. She made up for what she lacked after becoming an apprentice and can be often seen in the library.

WIS: 3 - Lutz's cynical attitude has distanced herself from others, but her intuitiveness was not completely impaired. Even though she died at a young age, Lutz had seen the good and the very dark side of humanity, thus her ability to perceive a person has become very heightened. She never questions what she sets out to do, thus her willpower is sturdy enough.

CHA: 0 - With the scars on her body and her unsmiling expression, Lutz doesn't really attract much good attention with her look. Not to mention she looks awfully like something out of a horror movie when carrying Hexe around.
